New lead rules affect pre-1978 homes
Many houses, apartments and other buildings that were built prior to 1978 may have paint in them that contains lead. Lead-based paint can pose serious health hazards if not taken care of properly, especially for children and pregnant women. If you live in a home that was built prior to 1978, or if you're thinking of buying or renovating one, this is certainly an issue that you need to be aware of.

The National Economic Scene - August, 2010
It seems that the government is always revising the data they previously release so that you wonder how much you can rely on the information as it comes out each month. Their latest revision reveals that the recession was actually deeper than previously thought. Turns out that the US economy shrank by 2.6% last year rather than the 2.4% originally estimated. This was the steepest drop since 1946, at the end of the war. This helps to explain why the unemployment rate surged to 10.1% in October. I believe that was a revised figure as well. ...more

Since at least one of the tenants had to be over 55, we put her name on the shares, as well as my name.
